Graphic Design Manager

Job description

  • Manage the artwork / graphic design team

  • Develop scalable design creation processes

  • Work closely with our development team to ongoingly improve all system related to design creation

  • Ensure that the team designs and creates artwork that corresponds to the client requirements and meets their expectations

  • Ensure that the sales teams meet or exceed overall targets and KPIs such as: number of artworks created, number of customers supported, customer satisfaction score, number of returning customers

  • Monitor the team’s tasks and responsibilities actively using statistics and KPIs and on a regular basis,  conduct regular meetings with the teams and with the management in order to improve performance and efficiency

  • Prepare and retouch artworks of customers in markets across Asia-Pacific, with focus on Australian, Thai, Malaysian, and Singaporean  customers

  • Ensure smooth processes between the different departments involved in the customer journey (Sales, Design, Production)

  • Coordinate and liaise with sales and customer service to obtain clear customer requirements and final clearance on the artwork products

  • Coordinate and liaise with production to ensure feasibility and clarity of the customer’s printing requirements

  • Work closely with Gogoprint’s management team to analyse, discuss, improve and develop knowledge about products, processes and other information of the company

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required with an education in (graphic) design preferred

  • At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience in the artwork design and/or graphic design field

  • Proven track-record of 3 - 5 years in managing team.

  • In-depth experience with the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.

  • Excellent English language skills

  • Experience in the printing or related industries (especially with regards to graphic design) is highly preferred

  • Experience in customer service related fields is advantageous

  • Excellent organization and project management skills

  • Excellent time and people management skills

  • Ability to be agile and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
